1. Our Intellectual Property

All content and materials in OurMynd are the property of The Social Globe Ltd or its licensors and are protected by UK and international copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual property laws. This includes but is not limited to:

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our prior written permission.

2. Your Content

You retain ownership of the original content you create within the App, such as your tasks, goals, reflections, and messages ("Your Content").

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, copy, transmit, and display Your Content solely so that we can operate the App and deliver the service to you. That licence exists only for as long as we need it to provide the service, and it ends when you delete the content or your account.

What we will not do with Your Content:

Shared sessions. Where you join a focus room or a body doubling session, the other participants hear your live audio and see your generated display name for the duration of that session. Audio is transmitted live and is not recorded by us. Participants have no right to record, copy, republish, or use anything from a session elsewhere, and doing so breaches our Terms & Conditions.

Your responsibility. You confirm that you own Your Content or have the right to share it, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

3. Licence to Use the App

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use OurMynd for your own personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.

This licence does not permit you to:

4. Third-Party Content and Services

OurMynd uses third-party technology and services, including AI models provided by Anthropic and OpenAI, and infrastructure from providers including Supabase, Fly.io, Stripe, and LiveKit. These services remain the property of their respective owners and are used under licence. Open source components are used under their respective licences, and a list is available on request from support@ourmynd.com.

5. Reporting Copyright Infringement

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and respond promptly to properly made complaints. If you believe content within OurMynd infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent at the address in section 8.

Your notice must include all of the following. These are the elements required by section 512(c)(3) of the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act, and an incomplete notice may not be actionable:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorised to act on their behalf
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list where multiple works are covered by a single notice
  3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it, including the username, the room or feature, and the date and time where you can give them
  4. Your contact details: name, postal address, telephone number, and email address
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner’s behalf

On receiving a valid notice we will remove or disable access to the material expeditiously, and notify the user who posted it, passing on a copy of your notice.

Please note: under section 512(f), a person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees.

6. Counter-Notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the designated agent in section 8. It must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that was removed, and the location where it appeared before removal
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, postal address, and telephone number
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or, if your address is outside the United States, to the jurisdiction of any judicial district in which we may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who gave the original notice or their agent

We will forward your counter-notice to the person who made the original complaint. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the activity, we may restore the material within 10 to 14 business days of receiving the counter-notice.

7. Repeat Infringer Policy

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright.

8. Designated Agent for Copyright Notices

Notices and counter-notices should be addressed to:

Copyright Agent
The Social Globe Ltd
2nd Floor, 112 High Road, Ilford, England, IG1 1BY
United Kingdom
Email: support@ourmynd.com

Please put "Copyright Notice" in the subject line so that it reaches the right person quickly.

9. Notices Under UK and EU Law

The procedure above is also how to notify us of allegedly infringing content under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and under Article 17 of Directive (EU) 2019/790, where either applies. A notice that meets the requirements in section 5 is sufficient for those purposes as well. We act on valid notices expeditiously, and we operate the complaints route in section 6 so that a removal can be challenged.

10. Reporting Misuse of Our Content

If you become aware of anyone copying, misusing, or infringing OurMynd’s intellectual property, please report it to support@ourmynd.com. We take infringement of our rights seriously and will pursue appropriate remedies.

11. Trade Marks

OurMynd® is registered in the United Kingdom under UK Trade Mark No. UK00004421008. The registration symbol is used in relation to the United Kingdom. In territories where the mark is not registered, it is used as an unregistered trade mark of The Social Globe Ltd, and rights are asserted accordingly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Copyright Policy. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision, and we will tell you about material changes as described in our Terms & Conditions.
