Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 25 August 2026

Welcome to OurMynd. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the OurMynd mobile application and related services (the "App"). Please read them carefully. By downloading, accessing, or using OurMynd, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Who you are contracting with

The App is provided by The Social Globe Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13923693, whose registered office is at 2nd Floor, 112 High Road, Ilford, England, IG1 1BY.

OurMynd® is a registered trade mark of The Social Globe Ltd (UK Trade Mark No. UK00004421008).

Contact: support@ourmynd.com

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. If any term here conflicts with a right you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, or any other law that cannot be excluded, that law applies instead of the term.

1. What OurMynd Is (and Is Not)

OurMynd is an AI-powered coaching, planning, and productivity tool designed to support people with ADHD, executive dysfunction, overwhelm, and related challenges.

Important. OurMynd is NOT:

The AI coach provides general support, encouragement, and productivity guidance only. It does not provide medical or clinical advice. Always seek the advice of a qualified health professional with any questions about a medical or mental health condition.

The App does not monitor you for crisis or risk of harm. The AI coach is not designed to detect distress, self-harm, or suicidal intent, and it may fail to recognise them. Never rely on the App in an emergency.

If you are in crisis or experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact emergency services (999 in the UK, 112 across the EU), the Samaritans (116 123), or your local crisis service immediately.

2. Eligibility and Age

You must be at least 16 years old to use OurMynd. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement, and we ask you to confirm your age during sign-up.

If we become aware, or have reasonable grounds to believe, that an account belongs to someone under 16, we will suspend the account, ask for confirmation of age, and close the account and delete the associated personal data if the position is not resolved.

If you are 16 or 17, additional protections apply automatically. Your profile is private by default, you are not profiled for marketing, and we apply stricter defaults to the community features described in section 6. These protections reflect our obligations under the Information Commissioner’s Age Appropriate Design Code.

3. Your Account

To use OurMynd, you need to create an account. You agree to:

You may sign in using Apple or Google authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of those accounts. Accounts are personal to you and must not be shared, sold, or transferred.

4. Subscriptions, Payment and Your Right to Cancel

OurMynd offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers (currently "Plus" and "Pro").

Your 14 day right to cancel. Because you buy from us at a distance, you have a legal right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of the day the contract is made, without giving a reason. To cancel, email support@ourmynd.com with the words "I cancel" and your account email. You do not need to use any particular form of words.

If you ask us to begin the service immediately, and you do so by using the paid features during the 14 day period, you accept that the service starts straight away. If you then cancel within the 14 days, we refund what you have paid less a proportionate amount for the part of the service already supplied. If you have not used the paid features at all, we refund you in full.

Refunds. Refunds are handled in accordance with UK consumer law, and where you are resident in the EEA, in accordance with your local consumer law where that gives you greater protection. We issue refunds to the original payment method within 14 days of accepting a cancellation. If subscriptions are offered through a mobile app store in future, that store’s own refund policy will apply to purchases made that way.

Price changes. We may change subscription prices. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before a change affects you, and you may cancel before it takes effect. A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

Free trials. If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial period. We will tell you the date the trial ends and the price that will then be charged. Your subscription begins and payment is taken automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, and we will tell you why unless we are prevented by law from doing so.

6. Focus Rooms, Body Doubling and Conduct

OurMynd includes features that put you in contact with other users ("Shared Sessions"):

You are identified only by a generated display name. Your real name and email address are never shown to another user.

You are responsible for what you say. Anything you say in a Shared Session can be heard by the other people in it. Do not share your real name, contact details, financial information, clinical information, or anything else you would not want a stranger to know. Body doubling matches you with someone you have not chosen and may not know.

Sessions are not recorded. Audio is transmitted live between participants and is not recorded or stored by us.

Reporting. If someone behaves in a way that breaches these Terms, report it using the reporting tools in the App or by emailing support@ourmynd.com. We aim to review every report within 24 hours, and sooner where the report concerns a risk to a person’s safety or conduct that is illegal. We will tell you what action we have taken.

What we may do. Where conduct breaches these Terms or the law, we may remove a person from a session, prevent them joining further sessions, warn them, suspend the account, or terminate it permanently. Shared Sessions happen in real time and are not monitored by us as they occur, so we cannot promise that everything said in one is lawful or appropriate.

Blocking. You can block another user, which prevents the two of you being placed in the same session again.

Leaving. You can leave any session at any moment, without explanation, and the other participant is not told why.

Repeat offenders. We operate a repeat offender policy. Accounts responsible for repeated breaches are terminated.

If you disagree with a moderation decision, including being barred from sessions or the suspension of your account, email support@ourmynd.com and we will review it and respond within 14 days.

Users aged 16 and 17. Accounts belonging to 16 and 17 year olds are not matched with adults through automatic body doubling matchmaking, and their profiles are private by default.

7. AI-Generated Content and Personalisation

OurMynd uses artificial intelligence to generate responses, plans, and suggestions, and builds a picture of your goals, routines, and patterns over time so that those suggestions become more useful. You acknowledge that:

This personalisation involves profiling as defined in data protection law. It does not involve any automated decision producing legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affecting you. How it works, and your rights in relation to it, are described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, software, and materials within OurMynd, including the "OurMynd" name and logo (UK Trade Mark No. UK00004421008), are owned by The Social Globe Ltd or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

You retain ownership of the content you create within the App, including your tasks, goals, and messages. You grant us a licence to store and process that content solely so that we can operate the App and provide the service to you, on the terms set out in our Copyright Policy. We do not use your content to train artificial intelligence models.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and on what legal basis. It forms part of your relationship with us, and it, rather than these Terms, governs how we handle your data. Where we rely on your consent, that consent is asked for separately in the App and you can withdraw it at any time.

10. Our Responsibility for Loss or Damage

We will supply the App to you with reasonable care and skill, as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires. Nothing in these Terms limits that duty.

We never exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of the terms implied by sections 49 and 50 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Subject to that:

If defective digital content we have supplied damages a device or other digital content belonging to you, we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation, as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires.

11. Termination

You may stop using OurMynd and delete your account at any time from within the App.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. We may also withdraw the App entirely, in which case we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email where we reasonably can.

If we end your subscription for any reason other than your breach of these Terms, we will refund the unused part of anything you have already paid, calculated pro rata. On termination, your right to use the App ends, and your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may change these Terms where there is a valid reason to do so, including a change in the law, a change in how the App works, a change in the cost of providing it, or a change to the third-party services we depend on.

For changes that affect you materially, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the App and tell you what is changing. If you do not accept a material change, you may cancel before it takes effect and we will refund the unused part of anything you have already paid. Minor changes that do not affect your rights, such as corrections and clarifications, take effect when published.

13. Complaints and Disputes

If something has gone wrong, email support@ourmynd.com. We acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and aim to resolve them within 30 days.

If we cannot resolve a complaint between us, you may be able to refer it to an alternative dispute resolution provider. If you are resident in the EEA, the consumer protection authority and consumer advice bodies in your country remain available to you free of charge.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.

If you are a consumer resident outside England and Wales, this does not deprive you of anything. You keep the protection of any mandatory law of the country you live in, you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country, and we will only bring proceedings against you in the courts of the country you live in.
